Position Description

Reporting to the President & CEO and as a member of the executive committee, the Vice President, Sales & Customer Experience is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s commercial strategy. More specifically, this role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Define and implement an effective sales and customer experience strategy by establishing a sales plan aligned with the company’s overall objectives;
  • Develop a sales and customer experience structure that supports business growth targets;
  • Identify priority market segments and growth opportunities;
  • Achieve and exceed revenue objectives by setting realistic yet ambitious sales targets;
  • Oversee sales team performance and adjust tactics by market segment while ensuring profitability;
  • Lead, structure, and motivate the sales team across the Group’s divisions;
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain team members;
  • Foster a culture of performance, engagement, and accountability;
  • Establish clear and motivating performance indicators;
  • Optimize sales processes and tools by evaluating the sales cycle, lead qualification, and lead management, and implement improvements;
  • Introduce tools to support the sales force (CRM, reporting);
  • Deploy continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and data analysis;
  • Provide regular and relevant analyses to the executive committee;
  • Actively contribute to strategic decision-making with the executive committee.

Required Experience

  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in international B2B sales (U.S. market experience is a strong asset), including at least 2 years in a leadership role;
  • Proven experience in high-end furniture, design, or interior architecture (an asset);
  • Strong track record in building high-performing structures;
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Highly organized, rigorous, and autonomous;
  • Political acumen;
  • Bold and confident personality;
  • Strong strategic mindset, solid business sense, and results orientation;
  • Skilled in managing complex, high-level negotiations;
  • Availability to travel internationally (up to 30–40% of the time).

  • Quickly establish credibility with executive committee peers, given that this is a newly created strategic role within the company;
  • Implement directions, team structures, and systems aligned with business growth objectives;
  • Set up a market intelligence function related to premium furniture needs across various market segments.
